Would Martin be the one to ask what AFC Mode is/does? It seems to be a problem in the UCGO cargo unpacking/packing situation.

why martin?

Its aerodynamic flight control.

I know that the parameter wasn't in the previous version of Orbiter, and since he coded this version I thought he would be the one to ask.

It already exists since the 2006 version, when the new aerodynamic model was introduced.

Small correction: It seems like the AFCMODE entry was not automatically saved in the default state in 2006, just looked into some old quicksaves.

But that doesn't change the vessels: The AFC Mode was already available in its current form in 2006 and behaved exactly the same.

Ah! Well obviously you know more than I do about AFC so maybe you are the one to figure out why the UCGO packable cargo repacks itself. Some other threads pointed to AFC Mode as where the problem lies so maybe you could put your thinking cap on and solve the problem? Eh, whadya think?

This appears to be a known bug in UCGO, so Dan is the only one who can fix it.

Like Tommy said, that is DanStephs add-on, and he is the only one who can fix it.

I can just tell you that the function is known, and that it is now saved by default is actually better than the previous state in which it was ignored by most.

Correct. It's been mentioned on here and on Dan's forum with the steps required to reproduce it so it's now up to Dan to fix it and release an update if he has the time and if he chooses to so.
