Hi everyone.
I'd like to ask you for help in my Apollo 7 flight. I'm using the newest version of AMSO and I have edited the Apollo 8 scenario to the Apollo 7. I lifted off, did some orbit operations but now I have a problem with reentry. I've chosen AeroBrake MFD and BaseSync MFD to synchronize my orbit with the splashdown site. I think that I've done everything as I should. I mean after retro burn according to the BaseSync MFD indicators I get my AeroBrake panel like that:

You can see that the gray indicator overlaps the yellow one and I think that it should be like that.

But just when I do CM/CS separation it changes to that:

The grey line moved a bit and with that setting I land very far away from my target.

So here is my question. How I have to do it to land near my target? Precisely I'd like to know how I should count when to stop a retro burn in order that the gray line overlaps the yellow after separation?

This is just a shot in the dark guess but it looks as if Aerobrake MFDis calculating your -re-entry based on the weight and other characteristics of the whole CSM. When you dump the SM, it is then recalculating for the CM alone. When I do re-entries with AMSO, I've always tried to simply time them close to the actual historical times of the mission while aiming for an entry angle of around 6 degree and a periapsis altitude of around 48k. That usually gets me pretty close to my intended target.
