Flight Question AMSO Reentry

Ok, but I need do this only with TransX and maybe small add-on. But Thanks for reply.

Sorry, my last reply was for Mantis.

Ok, but how I can get perigee to 50-60km?

Use the orbit MFD. Do your TEI burn with whatever tool you want to use and then use Orbit MFD to determine what your Periapsis is. You can then raise or lower it by burning either pro-grade or retro-grade.

After TEI, when doing MCC I've found that it's easier to change the perigee with burns that are perpendicular to the direction of motion (sideways if you will).

My PeR is around 6.200M and I don't have enought fuel to get 48k.

Oh, I try it many times but I still can't make successful reentry. :(

PeA not PeR.
Periapsis Radius is distance from centre of planet. You want Periapsis Altitude (distance above surface)

Ou, THANKS!!! Now I must looking like idiot! :beathead: But THANKS A LOT!!! Now it works! Huhu!!! Realy Thanks!

And one small question. Can I choose the landing place?

You can... sort off... but it requires very precise navigation. Basically you time your reentry so the Earth is in the correct (rotational) position.

But when you've made many Apollo style reentries, you get an intuition of what kind of corrections you need to tweak the landing spot. Calculating the maneuvers to arrive with pinpoint accuracy, is a bit too involved for me
