Question Android External MFD

I have searched around a bit, to no avail so far. Has anyone ever ported an External MFD to Android? I'm thinking of building a space ship simulator around Orbiter for my grandkids and would love to use a Tablet as a MFD with keys using the touchpad capability of the Tablet. I am thinking of running the External MFD over a wireless connection to minimize the cabling. Two Tablets could be configured each to provide the Left and Right MFDs.

Nice! Not a native Android application, but definitely a good start. In my case, I intend to use an ASUS TF101 10" Tablet as an MFD.

I installed the VNCMFD add-on and the VNC Viewer app on my Android Tablet earlier tonight. Everything work just fine on the first spin. Thanks for the link to the thread.
