Update Antares 2.0 coming soon!

This is the release date!
We expect to upload this addon on Orbit Hangar just before sunset!

So if I fly into orbit this addon will be uploaded sooner? :hmm:

No, because you are going into orbit only to watch the terminator line crossing the Prime Meridian.

It' relased!

That's the combination of 4 months of intense work and space flight simulation passion! I hope you will enjoy it!

It may not be cool though. I'm pretty sure if you offered constructive criticism it would be better received.
For a group of people to put together and implement such a project shows me that they have some great skills as a development team, and makes me wonder what more they can put together in the future. Have you looked at their beta release of Gaia Station? And it's a BETA.

It was also mentioned a few posts up....

I have to say that this addon along with the Jarvis HLV and the Neptune makes for a lovely little family of launch vehicles. Thanks for your hard work on these Fausto. They will be heavily used by my Ascesion Island base.

IIRC they had it available for a time at a temporary site. Maybe if we begged and pleaded with our Italian friends they will make it available again. I've got the files, but I couldn't send them without permission I don't think... Then again it might be still available, I need to dig through some old threads.

here is the development thread... http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=16049&highlight=station

Nice, thanks!

EDIT:
Does the Jarvis with the Antares Rescue version has enough delta-v to reach the Station? I don't have time now so I just tested a launch on 10x (so maybe that's the cause) and when the autopilot ended Antares was at 10º relative inc from ISS and the tug from the Jarvis had little fuel left

Sorry for delay in answering. The autopilot is pretty instable, and it's better no use any time compression. Personally with time compression sometimes I even fail to reach the orbit.

We have reported that there are some problems with one texture (vetro.dss) plus other little bugs in Antares.
For the moment, and until the release of an official patch that will correct the other bugs, here's the correct texture. Once downloaded you simple need to overwrite the previous texture.

I tried to use this almost like a Soyuz. Launch a crew to the ISS, leave it there docked, and the crew that flew up on it fly back down on it after their time on the ISS is done.

While it is up there, the capsule doesn't seem to care that it is docked to another ship, with the docking hatch open, because the O2 continues to be depleted, and the power eventually dies. I go into the scenario file and attempt to restore the functionality of the ship, and I can get the solar panels back up, the O2 back up, and get all that to work. Then I get ready to de orbit, fire retro, last minute adjustments to make sure I get to the base, and now I cannot jettison the SM. Can't even get the guard to flip up to press the SM jettison button. And i have tried the click spots in the VC and the keyboard short cuts, all I get is a master alarm flash and that buzzing sound. And I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the capsule to work after a long stay at the ISS.
