Any Babylon 5 fans in the house

Count me in!

Watched the entire series(first time on VHS!) 3 times, but never saw it when it was running on TV.

So . . . . .still checking. ; )

If you were told that someone conducted a pile of new interviews with a chunk of the FX artists. And tied in with the interviews was a large collection of (mostly) previously unreleased concept art from the show (and it’s spin offs) including stuff like this.

Would you find that of interest at all.

I have all the discs and movies and spin-offs.

season 5 was a victim of studio management. Basically there never was going to be a season 5 so JMS decided to end the shadow war in season 4 and wrap up a few other things. If he had had things his way it would have extended into season 5.

When the show was renewed for season 5 some cast members, expecting the series to be cancelled, had made other plans and JMS had to come up with a story for season 5 which is why it starts slow and builds up.

Remember that out of all the episdoes over 90% were written by one man. A feat that has never been seen before or since.
Actually, it was conceived as a 5-year story, and I know JMS explained what happened between Seasons 4 & 5 somewhere, but I can't find it.
It's probably buried among the "jms speaks" sections of one of the episode write-ups on the Lurker's Guide.

Well, as B5 fans.
I just started a thread in the Brighton Lounge that you might find of interest. ; )
