well the main things to use are dock MFD Orbit MFD and Map MFD

yup.

Is the Pulsar V2 piece based off of a real ISS piece?

Here is Zarya, not in the right orbit yet.

Use it's thrusters or use a progress to help raise the orbit.

If you want to change it directly in the scenario file then use the built-in scenario editor.

Of course, the best option is to place it in the correct orbit to being with.

i am at around a 500 to 600 km orbit but in real life Zarya is in a 400 km orbit.
plus i dont know how to change the orbit.

Read the manual. You might want to try something simple like the tutorials before trying something more complex like building the ISS.

In real life the ISS is at about 350KM.

if you are building a station its best to keep it at the altitude you want it at and not launch it higher than the hight you want

how do i change it to the orbit i want i just crashed into earth for some reason

you can change it with the editor

How about you learn what an orbit is first? Then you would know how to prevent crashing into planets.
Reading the orbiter manual will also explain the use of the scenario editor.

i am reading it now but what is weird it that most of the time that i crash into planets i know why i crashed but this time i went from 500 something km's to ground level in less than 1 minute

TSPenguin is correct. You need to learn the basics first and not try things like IMFD and station building until you can get into a stable orbit.

Do that and then you can try more ambitious things like docking.

Get that right a few times and you are ready to try station building. Getting to building a station took me 2.5 YEARS of messing around with orbiter and I'm still learning. There is a steep learning curve.

Another thing that would help is reading and understanding the manual. Don't ask the sort of questions you have been asking. No one is going to play orbiter for you.
