Do you think you can get one of C/2013 A1?
I've shot comet Siding Spring using a telescope ironically in Siding Spring over the internet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0ulqdS_Zps ) but it's much too far south for me to get with my own personal scope here in Florida right now. The earliest I'll be able to get it with my equipment is going to be some time in late September, early October. I will be getting it then though.

Ah, got it. It's a shame that Mars isn't at opposition right now, but should be cool to see it zip pass Mars in my 8" Newtonian.

Here's my first M42 of the season. Taken with my Nikon D5100 @ 200mm, processed in DSS and edited in Photoshop through HDR toning. About 30 minutes worth of exposures, would have done more if I weren't fighting the rising sun.

Thank you Kyle, I appreciate that. That's a great capture Yurik, I've only tried an ISS moon transit once and it didn't come out nearly so well. I shot Orion last night with my new ST-2000XCM camera - I have to take at least one picture of the Orion nebula with each deep space camera I get.
