Request Atmospheric balloon

Something that would make a very cool and useful addon is an atmospheric balloon. Ideally, this balloon could be deployed in the atmosphere of Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, etc., and even be launched from the surface of Venus or Titan. You could attach cargo to it and control its rising and falling in the atmosphere of whatever planet it's on.

I have gone through the Orbit Hangar site and not found anything like this. I did find an old add-on that seems to have done this very thing, but it hasn't been updated in over ten years.

If I am overlooking something completely and such an add-on exists, could someone please point me in the right direction?

The [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3380"]Eris Explorer[/ame] apparently has multiple balloon probes to be dropped. Maybe this will get you started, I haven't tried this addon yet so cannot comment on the probes characteristics.

That would require more of a submarine than a balloon...

There used to be a bouyancy.dll that simulated floating objects, but it didn't run in 2010.
