Hi there..I was wondering ...does anyone know how to disable automatic countdown in a scenario...
When I open a scenario in "International Space Station" and go to the Shuttle scenarios, once opened, they default to T-8 mins and 49 seconds to launch....does anyone know how I turn this off, or if possible change it as I want to be around 310 seconds from ISS interception at launch, and not 800 seconds...many thanks

I think "International Space Station" requires the Shuttle Fleet 4.5 and as far as I know you can stop the automatic launch sequence and launch autopilot by pressing "B" but you can't turn it on again ;)

Hi..thanks for your reply...I have tried "B"...but nothing happens...I don't think you need Shuttle Fleet 4.5 as the shuttles are all in the ISS folder...I've even tried Shift-P, and others...nothing happens....it still shows the countdown to launch in the bottom-left hand corner....

Some people wants the launch autopilot to be disabled, but I want to enable it in the scenario file. Is this possible with Shuttle Fleet 4.7, without using Thorton's scenario files? I looked into them but I couldn't find any lines dealing with an autopilot for launch at a specified time.

I would consult the Shuttle / ISS addon documentation. I believe I hit A or something to disable the autopilot when we had shuttles in multiplayer.

As far as I know the AP is controlled in a scenario file which specifies target altitude or something.

The auto pilot that comes with Shuttle Fleet is discussed in the manual.

As far as Thorton's countdown, why do you want to change it? If you are running the scenario as it should be, the liftoff times are historicaly accurate. If you are adapting it to use in your oun scenarios I would take a look through the scenario files.

Personally, the launch AP that comes with the Fleet is all you need to get to orbit if you don't need the bells and whistles of the GOA and the OAA retraction.

Read the shuttle fleet manual.

I're read about THT_HEADING, the values for that are accurate and I don't what to modify them. I also know that ITEM 777 will initiated the launch, but it does that immediately. I would like to have for Shuttle Fleet a behavior like we have in Thorton's scenario: to be able to set externally (in the scenario file?) a time for launch and the shuttle to launch then without any other interventio from the user iinside the simulation. B will stop this autopilot, I found that in the manual, but how do I schedulet the launch from outside? How do I tell the shuttle when to automatically launch?
