News 'Autophage' Rocket

Sounds kind of like the caseless ammunition cartridge idea that's been floating around the firearm design world for several decades now. Instead of a brass case, the solid propellant itself is its own case, with the projectile glued to the end of it. No manufacturer has ever managed to make it practical, as it results in excessive fouling of the weapon's mechanism.

For a "caseless" rocket, there would be no need to worry about fouling anything. I'm curious as to how this would work without bursting out the sides. Would love to see more details.

Nice thinking outside the box. Definitely interested how this'll turn out :)

Making sure that the fuel does not catch fire during launch is sure one challenge there.
