Hello! will Universal Autopilots be able to take me from earth to the moon? what about from earth to a base on the moon?

Yes, but you need to read up on it.

from my experience....use UAP only as a last resort.

Launch MFD has a better launch ap. And then use LTMFD for the rest of your trip. And for landing use Pursuit MFD. Really, if you want to do the entire flight using APs, those three will do the job.
