Hi,
N.B. - Edited since posting as I've discovered the problem is more general (changes in red).
I hope someone can help me. I've been playing Orbiter fine for several weeks but recently I've been having problems with the Autopilot in all Orbiter craft. Whenever it tries to throttle up or engage max power, the throttle setting stutters back and forth, never settling on the right setting. It's like there is a conflict with the joystick manual throttle, as if I manually push the joystick throttle to max. the autopilot then gets the setting it wants.
I am using a Saitek Cyborg X joystick which has two throttle sliders. I use "Fly-by-Wire" to configure the sliders. The main engine slider is configured so that it controls both forward and reverse thrust. I've checked it and it has a good amount of deadzone assigned to it so that you have to move the slider a fair way before it engages the engines.
Has anyone seen this before, and if so, is there a quick fix? As I say, I was playing Orbiter fine until fairly recently, so I'm mystified as to why this has now started happening. Any advice would be much appreciated.
