I don't know if this was discussed before (this thread deals with the SD version with no bonus material) but Matt Mellis from NASA's Glenn Research Center uploaded last year a video on YouTube showing off some superb shots of a shuttle launch. People keep asking for a HD version of the film (since Matt Mellis, during the live commentary suggested many times that such material existed) so later on the NASA YouTube channel finally featured it (720p), plus bonus footage in standard definition:

This is the new Special Edition of the Ascent - Commemorating Shuttle DVD. It includes alot of new content like photographs of the actual camera equipment in a slide-show presentation. It also includes landing videos taken by high-speed film cameras.
 
WOW, and I thought the slow motion launch of the Saturn V was impressive.
