You may laugh...but I just heard a nice story about the Airbus A400M and it's many delays... one of the reasons was, that when the Airbus engineers presented a study of the cabin to parachutists, the parachutists wondered how they are supposed to leave the A400M...surprising for the Airbus designers, the parachutists expected correctly to leave the plane through the side door and the side door on the A400M mock-up was a typical standard aircraft door, that opened to the outside and can't be opened in flight...
