OHM Basic Collision Detection

This video was made about 4 yrs ago and as far as Im aware was never published, I would be happy with this effect,,,or better still a damage factor built into it as well...but just some simple cause and effect would be nice

Great idea!

It is a shame it does not work in orbit.

I've tried two scenarios:
1) bringing a ship towards a target.
2) undocking

In both cases the ship is kind of jettisoned away from the target at a very high rate. In the collision test the ship does not even get close to impact but it is "rejected" when still quite far away from target.

Fixing this strange behaviour and further developing this addon would add a huge amount of realism to the sim! Hope someone will do it...

 great

Has anyone tried any XR2 scenario? There are 2 vessels: XR2 and XR2 Payload bay, collision detection make it work like antigravity porpulsion:hmm:

The code defines a "box" region for individual vessels.
The code only defines this for 4 vessels, the DG, shuttleA,PB, and ISS.
If its not one of these vessels, it uses a default VECTOR3.

I just don't collide with things. The all Mighty probe protects me :hailprobe:
