Hello again everyone.

Well, it's been some years since I was last a part of the ORBITER community, but I'm back...from outer space.... AHEM never was much good at singing.

Anyhow, just been given a free pc tower by a friend who had to have the latest in upgrades for his gaming PCs, so now I'm relishing the new computing horsepower at my disposal, not to mention 700Gigs of hard drive space.

I dusted off my CD of ORBITER... WOW the latest stuff on there was dated 2002 !

Downloaded the Big file from orbitersim (Thanks Eric) so looking forward to getting up and running once more.

Probably not much that you would want to.

Even Orbiter 2006 to Orbiter 2010 add-on compatibility is sketchy.

There's been a massive leap in capability and addon quality in the last many years. The XR family, UCGO, IMS, and the new Beta version of the long-awaited successor to Orbiter 2010.

Thinking about it, I must have a later CD somewhere because I remember the DG-EX, Kulch's stuff - the TX was/is a beautiful aircraft. Papy's Bar was a fun place to hang out.

Well Orbiter 2010 running sweetly - at least in the scenarios I've played with so far, not to mention the DG-EX works. Off to find the refuel MFD and see if the TX works too.
