I need help with landing at Brighton Beach. I know how to aerobrake but that's where my dilemma comes in. THERE'S NO ATMOSPHERE ON THE MOON. I would appreciate links to tutorials, but its also appreciated to have a plain explaination. I have base sync and I've used that to align with Brighton Beach but I don't know how to make a correct encounter.

"Go Play In Space" has a section in Chapter 3 (once around to block). You launch from Brighton, do a full orbit of the moon and recover again at Brighton. The techniques discussed are valid for all airless worlds that I've landed on (so far).

There is also LandMFD, but it makes my Orbiter install CTD sometimes. By the time I'd discovered LandMFD, I'd already mastered the process anyway.

For the first time it is a little bit tricky.
I suggest it for the first time with DG-IV. But then you could try it with other vessels as well.

or there is LOLA MFD which will perform a beautiful landing onto an LPAD

take a look at the "lunar transfer" scenario in the tutorial folder

I was about to suggest this. Time-skip to the end if you don't want to watch the whole thing, but the playback goes through the entire landing sequence. Very helpful.

Edit: There's also this: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4016"]Orbiter Datacard - Brighton Beach[/ame]
