Buran project

So we have a good working Energia, the one by Kulch... I think it's time to make a Buran shuttle to match. I would if I knew how, but I can't make models.

It would be awesome if the Buran had similar things as the Atlantis, like docking cameras. Ejection seats and UMmu support would be cool too. There are Buran projects already, but they are out of date and they are mostly betas or spacecraftx.dll vessels. It'd be great to have a .dll coded Buran shuttle.

Yeah. It'd be cool to fly the Buran, maybe build a Mir-2 or wonder how the ISS would be different if the Buran would be used to build parts of it.

There are 3 Buran shuttle addons I know of:
-Buran 2 by mark
-CVEL-Buran by Nerull
-Buran3.03BETA by Jkanios

It would be really great to have a Buran shuttle add-on for orbiter with things like autopilots, surface bases, payloads and detailed launchpads.

The only add-ons that involve it were made in 2003, which means they are inspired by the hangar collapse which didn't happen long before. Shame that the only attention the Buran gets is linked to its destruction.

I'm a big fan of the Buran. I actually own part of the Buran 2.1 shuttle...the tiles were sold on the internet.

I'd love to see a Buran project! I think it'd be awesome to see what this thing could have done. We have Kulch's incredible Energya, but we just need a space shuttle to launch on it.

I agree that it'd be great if it had some of the UMMU, cameras, and some of the other unique features that were planned for the Buran. Getting it to function with the FCS autopilot would be cool.

This not have the mandatory interior view that the previous Buran models had. They made them difficult to work with. However, an interior would be awesome.

I can't wait to fly this new Buran to the Mir 2 station!

Does this mean that we have something going here? I'd love to see this project spring to life. Again, I have no experience modeling or coding, but I would love to pitch in by possibly making .pdf documentation, helping with research or making scenarios.
