Calculate altitude above poles...

Here's an image:

Orbit stats(fictional):
pea- 50 km
apa- 150 km

So, using these values, how can I calculate altitude of ship above north & south pole(red line above)? This orbit is not perfect, I know.

Any function?

Provided that by "poles" you mean a true anomaly of +/- 90, then

r = a(1-e^2)
