Hi,
In the external view mode (target relative, absolute direction, global frame) is there a keyboard input or screen button that allows you to freeze the camera's point of view at its current position (longitude, latitude, altitude) relative to the planet/moon/sun it is orbiting whereas at the same time it continues to track the vessel?
This would make for great and easy fly-by shots, giving an exact impression of the vessel's speed relative to the e.g. earth.
I know there is an addon that uses a new vessel to carry the camera's point of view, but this is cumbersome, and does not hold that fixed position relative to the orbited planet.
