I swear I'm about to give up on SSBB. Every time I get a few space station modules together I get a CTD. Not while the scenario is originally running but when I try to relaunch the current state. Thanks

Try the same scenario, but change the lines that have the name of this "Ship Mars Station Node 1" ship, into something without spaces. "ShipMarsStationNode1" or "Ship_Mars_Station_Node_1"

Hope this helps

My first suggestion would be to check the attachment points. I was building a space station, and always found that after a few stages, the thing would then start to CTD upon every loading of the current situation scenario. I finally figured out that while I had attached a URMS to a module, and it worked fine for that moment, but when saving, it wrote the attachment point wrong, every time, and that is what made it crash.

Thanks. I'll check the attachment points. I also noticed that when it CTD it disables windows Cleartype. Why would that be? is there a connection or is it a clue as to what's happening. I thought it might have something to do with Vistaboost.

Thanks dgatsoulis! I changed them all to vessel names with no spaces and it started right up!

Vistaboost disables Cleartype and re-enables it when you exit the scenario. So, if you have a CTD it doesn't get the chance to re-enable Cleartype.

That is my second problem. ClearType appears to be disabled every time I shut down Orbiter. Not only when there is a CTD but every time, This is a new development. Any ideas?

Does "new development" mean Orbiter beta 111105? If so, then don't use VistaBoost with it, as Orbiter itself disables ClearType by default. So either disable VistaBoost or turn off disabling of ClearType on the "Extra" tab.
