Problem Can't Load Orbiter

For some reason when I try and load Orbiter It says Orbiter.exe has stopped working. I haven't gotten Orbiter 2010 yet, and the problems began to occur when O-2010 came out.

Orbiter 2010 being released wouldn't affect Orbiter 2006, what addons have you installed ? and is there anything in the Orbiter.log ?

Have you tried unpacking a clean Orbiter install and running that? I'll give you odds of almost 1:1 the problem is with an addon you've installed in the last few days.

I reccomend just getting O2010. I seem to recall this happening to me, and the fix was to just install a vanilla orbiter.

That doesn't answer the question of whether a clean install sorts it.

Disable all modules (yes, even OrbiterSound) and see if it runs then.

If not, clean install, see if it runs then.

If Orbiter still does not run on a clean install, you will need to verify with someone that you have not died and gone to the bad place.
