Cavradyne Aerospace reveals Space Shuttle Galaxy
There was much excitement last month when a NASA 747 showed up on the tarmac here at Wideawake International in the wee hours carrying what was obviously a Pratt & Whitney Space Shuttle Orbiter, though Cavradyne personnel quickly hustled the vehicle into their storage facility in Area 3. It had been rumoured for years that the budding company had bought a lease on one of the 6 operational space vehicles, but today a Cavradyne spokesman has finally made it official that the company has leased the Space Shuttle Galaxy for the next eight years, along with $600 million in support equipment and personnel.
