UCGO Arrow Mission Time: 0:000:00:00:00.00
Officially, all of the supplies and vessels we are bring to Jupiter on our non-ion engine vessel, the Arrow have just been brought to orbit. UCGO headquarters in Maryland told us to begin the transfer to Jupiter. Then, the Arrow coasted silently through the night sky, not a single one making a noise as Earth slowly diminished in the distance.

We passed the orbit of the Moon. By now the shock of seeing Earth spiral away had left the first time spacefarers. I turned on a futuristic Photoelectric MFD and looked at the mission criteria and instructions. It seems we had missed a safety check scheduled to take place 10 hours ago. I didn't really think anything was wrong but I sent a crew member out on a EVA to check the ship just in case. 30 minutes into his EVA, he checked by the docking bay and, streams of gas were exiting at high velocities from the docked Delta Glider's nose cone. Or at least what was the nose cone. whoever was flying that ship apparently had the smart idea to dock with the nose cone closed. now, there were impact holes from the debris of the nosecone on the bay walls and in the deck maintenence levels. Then, the ship's pilot seemed to have then opened the airlock of the Arrow, and the vessel lost the equivalent of one month of air. In shock from hearing what he said, I fell back on the sound control panel and landed on a cluster of buttons that made the entire ship hear that message. I would have much rather broke the bad news.
