I have a honor to present you CHARIOT, unamnned lunar lander, intended to haul cargo from low Lunar orbit to Lunar surface, or otherwise.

It is simple craft resembling descent part of Apollo LEM. Chariot is supposed to take 20t of cargo to orbit or from orbit to surface, with enough fuel remaining for return of empty module. It's using Al-LOX (aluminium-liquid oxygen) propellant with specific impulse of 285 seconds, contains 33 tons of fuel with total weight of 38 tons. Al-LOX propellant was chosen for abillity to be manufactured on surface of Moon, allowing refueling from indigenous source, instead of ferrying propellant from Earth.

For now I have working vehicle defined by VESSEL-class (only configuration file, no DLL), only work remaining are textures and some kind of documentation, then it will be ready for upload to OrbitHangar. After that I will try to write DLL, so one day there might be new version with unique abillities, but nothing's sure right now. All in all, vessel-class should be enough for basic operations :)

Please, let me know what you think :)

Thanks! It's module from Project-Outposts addon.

Hello there, I wanted to let you know this project is not dead (and also, that I'm not dead :D ), but development has been and probably will be slow. Since I went to university, for the first time in my life I have to spent free time by studying, and that's something I'm not used to. When I have finally some spare time, I prefer to spent it by playing orbiter. Also, so many great addons lately...

But I'm determined to finish this, in one way or another. That means it may not end in real addon, though I'd love to. But main purpose of this project is to learn myself how to make addons, so then I could move on something else.

Anyway, I have now problem with adding textures to model, simply said I don't know how to do it. I'm sure I would be able to find some tutorial after long search, but with quick searching I wasn't able to find anything. So if anyone could help me with advice or link to some instructions, I would be very glad, since textures are main obstacle between me and nicely looking product.

Thank you very much!
