News Cheetahs chase family at safari park

I suppose Darwin was neutral. These people had their brains in neutral.

As if the martyrdom of Harambe wasn't enough to teach people to be more careful around wild animals in a zoo.

Zoos have an arguable point regarding conservation and breeding programs, though I think they will have to up their game to stay in business.

Safari parks I've never been comfortable with, never been to one, and probably never will.

So that qualifies me to pass judgement!

Near where I grew up in New Jersey there used to be a safari drive kind of thing associated with the Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park. We never drove through it and I wasn't that interested in it, but my friend down the street went through it with his family and the monkeys jumped on their car and started tearing the weather stripping out from the edges of the windows.

Yeah, I'll pass on that, thanks.

I think they may well have started in the UK. Usually skint aristocrats opening the grounds to the plebs(keeps the riff-raff out the house). Double fences and "game-wardens" to make the leafy Home Counties seem like the savanah.

From what I've seen looks like a drive-through monkey operated car-wash/dismantling operation.

Man, if any of those cats went for the kid, there would have been nothing the adults could do to stop it. Unbelievable stupidity.
