News China planning to build spaceplane

I think I saw a skylon-like photo posted for this Chinese spaceplane - earlier this year on this very forum. That's when I though "it's a knock-off".

However looking at the pics of the engine in the article, they look more like a "conventional" (ahem) SR-71 type with most of the core bypassed and running like a ramjet. ASSUMING this is what the plan actually is, of course.
