[CLOSED] XR Fleet skin requests

Like this mid-70's DC-10 Version - sure that would be fine.

All this talk of making new skins and liveries is getting me all excited now. What are some of the tools folks use to do this?

I would assume PaintShop Pro or PhotoShop.
A paintkit.
What else?

Are there any basic tutorials on how to use a paintkit? Just the basics to give me an idea of what happens and the general workflow.

I myself use Paint.NET and paint kits, I would use Photoshop, but it's damn expensive. :lol:

I should be able to finish it up shortly after I get home from the first day of term.

I use Paint.net and Adobe CS5 (also including Photoshop), also combined with Corel draw, nbut mostly i work with Paint.NET. I'll REALIZE REQUESTS for you AND I'll makiong YOUR skins mre realistic on request (adding RCS-thrusters and Airfoils, etc...)

The same goes for me^^ I use Paint.NET for lines, shapes etc. and Photoshop for brushes, logos and the layers.

I'd be more than happy to help you in my free time to meet all these demands for skins. I feel that my abilities, are pretty good. but ONLY XR2 skins.

I was just thinking the same thing the other day! i can come up with something tomorrow, maybe for a release the day after that.

Thanks for the offer jedimaster, but I think I can handle them for now, besides, I can stop taking requests whenever the workload get's a bit too big. :thumbup:

As for now, no more requests, I'll get to work on the FedEx XR2 and the AEB DGIV later today. :thumbup:

And expect the Stuent Driver skin soon.

Also, shortly before I took this screenshot, I noticed that the "Ex" in FedEx makes an arrow. :lol: (Don't look at me like that, we don't have FedEx down here. )

Do you work with any XR-1 skins? A Shuttle style / Nasa skin would be really nice for my scenario building my station which is using shuttle style XR2s / XR5s. There is 1 Nasa skin ive seen for it, but it doesnt look nearly as good as these skins you have been posting. Thanks

Looks great! I hope Jedimaster likes it too. The only thing I see missing is the "The World On Time" tagline on the nose. It's my fault for not mentioning it, but I was actually thinking of the 'FedEx Custom Critical' scheme.

When i was gonna do the skin, i was thinking about doing the classical brown FedEx scheme, but this one is better than i thought!

EDIT: i mixed up FedEx, with UPS....:facepalm:
