Major upgrade for previous CMG version. Now, maneuvring and keeping attitude is INSANELY PRECISE. No bumps, twists, jumps, flips etc :) Also I added scenario to demonstrate how it works now. Have fun!

No previous version required!

Addon requirements:
- Thorton's ISS
- Donamy's ISS Experience V3
- STS-92 for SSU by Donamy

Thanks to:
- Bartlomiej "Fizyk" Kaminski
- Tim "tblaxland" Blaxland

Addon released under GPL, so you can use the code just how you want to, but remember, any help will be given only to original code, without 3-rd party modifications.

This is a clean installation of Orbiter 2010 P1 with these addons installed in this order (as per the description on OH, no documentation in the distrabution):

Thorton's ISS V3.2
Donamy's ISS Experience V3
CMG V2.0

I'm guessing that there is another addon required or something you didn't include in the distrabution.

Might I also suggest that you try to remove the dependancies on such large addons for such a small addition (if this is truly ment to be able to be used on different vessels).

It looks like I didn't include one mesh. Maybe some reason why I don't want to remove dependance on such big addons:
- Z1 is little bit modified mesh from ISS Experience, so it uses the same textures as default one.
- CMG mesh is from Thorton's ISS, who allowed me to use it as long as I do not distribute it with my package.

Just uploading updated package with missed files.

Update has been uploaded, and one required addon has been added to the list.

Minor update has been uploaded. There was problem with low rotation rates, as orbital movement was overriding rotation, so vessel couldn't keep target attitude. Now it has been fixed.

This is a must have for SSU users. Thankyou !!!

Cool! "INSANELY PRECISE", that sounds great. I'll use it for my next space station...

Having a small problem:

The text seems to be to far to the right...

I'll continue to check if it's a problem with my PC. :compbash2:

Good that I was able to find they keys myself...

What is your screen resolution ?

1680x1050, using 1440 x 900 I see exactly the same. I play orbiter on a notebook with extarnal screen. Using the notebooks screen (1366x768) for Orbiter works, but I prefer to use the large external one, I'll try a driver update and other addons that use the HUD...

Works fine for me. Though I'm only on 1024 x 748.

That's deffinitely my fail. I'll fix this soon. Sorry, for that. In future, I'll do some beta tests prior official release

This looks very cool, but I too am seeing the issues with the HUD displays. Can you posts the commands here so I can test it out in the mean time?

BTW, my resolution is 1920x1200 full screen, Win XP Pro x64.

Rotation rate should be user-tunable, IMHO. LVLH frame would be very much appreciated, as well.

It is tunable :) Maybe your HUD is broken too, so you don't see dialog, where you can input it. Press CTRL+4

Suspect it's not the HUD, but the pilot who's to blame...

EDIT: sorry for not being clear. The idea is to have (say) a constant pitch rate, or a constant yaw rate, with the axis of rotation being fixed. Of course, implementing LVLH obviates the need to specify rates separately.

EDIT #2: I must be somewhat dense today, and even more clueless than ever. The CMG is working in LVLH as it is now... Sorry for misinformed ramblings...

EDIT #3: If it works fine in LVLH now, then another rambling feature request from me - inertial frame... /me tries to fade into the background...

This may help.

I was able to find the controls when I changed Orbiter to the smaller windowed resolution mentioned earlier in this thread.

This is a fantastic job here, very precise and indeed no jittering. Fantastic work, thanks!
