What FPS do you averagely consider comfortably playable in Orbiter?
That is, if you select between adding more nice graphics and having a good framerate, which framerate will you stop at?

Telling what GPU do you have will be nice too.

I picked 40-50, though in FSX I settle for 25-30.

System is 3.4GHz duel core, 4GB ram, and EVGA 250 GTS/1GB video card.

40-50 FPS. I've got a Pentium 4, 4GB RAM, and a 512MB "ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP"

I like to have a FPS of higher then 50 because there's always that splinter in the back of my mind that's reminding me that accuracy is higher if FPS is higher.

Usually I'll only briefly look at an external view during ascent or interplanetary travel.

AMD Athlon 3000+
1 GB of RAM
GeForce 6600 GT.

For me 30-40 FPS is good enough. Computer H/W is: Intel Core 2 Quad @2.4 GHz, 3 GB RAM, 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT.

FPS in orbiter is 60, planet view goes down to 45-50.

However FSX is about 15-20. That makes it flyable but still not great.

XP pro Intel core 2 duo T7250 2GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

For Orbiter I can live with between 20 and 30 as long as it's smooth and reasonably accurate. With FSX I have it limited to 19.
nVidia 9800GTS on my Desktop with an Intel Quad Core at 2.33Ghz
Radeon HD3200 on my laptop with an AMD Turion Dual core at 2 Ghz

60 FPS, i only have a 60Hz monitor so anything more is waisted computing power.

I usually consider 30 the cutoff between "questionable" and "acceptable"; I figure if I'm happy with my TV @ 30 FPS, that's good enough for PC games.

PC1 = Dell Dimension E521, XP/SP2, dual core 2.4 GHz CPU, motherboard's built-in video, ~70 FPS

PC2 = Home built, Windows 7, quad core 2.3 GHz CPU, NVidia GTX 260+, ~30 FPS with VistaBoost.

Twenty is about the minimum for playable. Thirty or more is better.
