I'm still having the atmospheric autopilot "out of control" issue even after applying Mogeley's fix. Here are the steps I took. Please let me know if I did something incorrectly:
1) Copied the entire Mogeley script from Orbiter Forum
2) Pasted it into the orbiter/script/dg/aap.lua file, replacing the existing script.
I will say it solved one problem, which is the ability to regain control after disabling the heading autopilot. However, the heading autopilot still sends the DG into extreme rolls, starting out slowly at first and eventually rolling it over onto its back. I've lost many good pilots and multi-million dollar DG's trying to figure this one out.
Thanks in advance.
