Project Costa Rica Space Systems Developments. What do you think i should do?

Looking good :-)

I vote for the Lunar Grunt/Lunar Glob project!

Is that a 2-part mission? One part to land the Rover and another part for the sample-return stage? Interesting.

Although the ascent(sample-return) stage looks like it is liquid fuel with some guidance capability - so it will be easier to return than the old Luna16 ascent stage(solid-fuel, single burn, no guidance).

Here's an interesting pdf about it (you probably have seen it already):

Contact me if you need any help making a .dll (for deploying the rover etc.).

Regards,
Brian

Hi again
Recently i migrated to Windows 7, so, i had to pause my developments for a little.

Here are more devs:

Any feedback? :feedback:

Loving the mini-shuttle, and the fact that it's launched on a F9H is pretty sweet. Looking great all around! :)

Well, since some time from here, my mind has been very busy, so until now i put new developments.

Three more payloads for orbiter :P

That minishuttle looks sweet. What's it's launcher? The only thing that stands out, really, is how the payload door opens; looks a little flimsy, to be honest.

Everything looks very cool. It's nice to see that you're developing launchers. Also, great idea, that mini shuttle.

More developments:

I know that Orbiter is not a pure Flight Simulator, but UMMU/UCGO inspired me for some ideas...

Maybe this development will compete with DagoO's TMSO, but my intention is giving an utility to UMMU/UCGO...

There are some airplanes that i've modelled for using UMMU/UCGO. :P

Now you just need to make a VC mesh for the A320 family, I could do the rest. I am sure, most better sorted Orbiteers have a Airbus manual on their HD.

BTW, because of the limitations of UMMU, the smaller A318 might be more suitable, it is the smallest and shortest version of it.

PS: My old employer, the German Aerospace Agency now got the new flying testbed, A320-232 D-ATRA, maybe you can make a repaint for this one? Here is a German article with some pictures, the article is about the test of using fuel cells for power supply in airliners.

Looking forward

to all of these...have you released them and if so where can they be downloaded?

Regards and great work!

The answer is a sad "no yet". First i want to learn C++ for coding them. This, because i want to give powerful capabilities like other add-ons that i admire (Add-Ons made by Kulch, Thorton, Igel, Kev33, Dansteph and BrianJ) and use the new capabilities of Orbiter 2011 (Lua Scripting, Radiation Pressure...), but now, i'm with almost no time (blame on the University :P).

At this rate, is very probably that i'm going to release all this stuff (payloads, rockets, shuttles, airplanes, space bases... even i'm modelling an airport :P) in a whole batch (just imagine... :P).

You do not need to learn C++.
If I am not mistaken Orbiter 2010 uses .NET and not Visual Studio anymore.
If there are no animations, a simple config file may work.
Else, you may start practicing by making an addon for Spacecraft3.dll

On a side note, I wonder if you may be willing to model a ship that uses VASIMR engines. After all it has some roots in Costa Rica.

Mae, por cierto, muy buen brete con los modelos de satélite. ¡¡Están muy tuanis, muy bien jalados!!

I didn't know that. Anyway, i'll should check the API reference documentation. The reason for studying C++ is because i've mastered very well the SC3 scripting language. I want to raise my add-ons to a higher level and adding new capabilities to my satellites (BrianJ and Igel -mainly- gave me some good envy :P).

Of Course!!! It is in my plans. I've started to model one based in a YouTube video (ZXofYP_VfUg) but i've lost the file.
