Scenario Countdown timer T minus

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew how to input a countdown timer into a scenario?....I have a number of Space Shuttle scenarios which incorporate a "T-Minus" countdown shown in the bottom left of the screen and continues to countdown all the way to lift off ....

Does anyone know where exactly this is put into the SCN file?....I've tried to look but cannot see anything which resembles countdown/event/timer...etc...

Appreciate your help....kind regards

Depends on the add-on.

Some add-ons have a specified launch time in MJD format.
Others just have a triggered terminal countdown.

Reading the manual for the add-on is usually the fastest way to get more information.
 
It's the International Space Station V3.2 by thorton....and it includes 23 STS missions....so would changing the MJD change the countdown timer in the bottm left?

I've looked in the readme file, and can't see anything about timer/countdown

Thorton did the (great) ISS and Soyuz+Progress addons (the russian hardware). I'm not certain of that but I think that the Shuttle scenarios use the (great too) Shuttle Fleet (v4.8?) addon which was done by David. So you might want to search into the Shuttle Fleet manual.

What I know for sure is that Thorton addon's write all the countdown related values in MJD format in the .scn file, and its definitively possible to tweak them (but you have a "countdown panel" (F8) with the Soyuz rocket addon that should allow you to control that).
 
for ISS 3.2 there is a timer that is attached both to the launch pad and the payload bay vessel that gets attached to Shuttle Fleet. It is hard coded to run down from 9 minutes, and it will trigger the various animations, and it will launch the stack at zero. If you are looking make the countdown longer, I am pretty certain that is not possible. If you are using a rolling scenario situation, to get the timer to ramp up again, just go into your scenario, find the TIMER lines, and delete them and it will resumed from 9m.
