Question Create surface tile with corner coords

Hi,
Just a quick question there, how can I specify the Top Left and Bottom Right coordinates of the tiles, and have a surface tile made up (or splitted in multiple parts) ?

I'm not sure of what you are searching for but this make me think to Image splitter, by nickd, that i used sometimes:

...lequel, pouvant le plus, et se montrer capable de découper une image en parties selon le niveau demandé, et attribuer à ces fragments d'images des intitulés de tuiles tels ceux de orbiter ( attention peut être à les mettre après coup à jour - le programme datant de la version 2006 - à la norme des intitulés 2010 ), peut à minima très probablement ne produire qu'une seule tuile avec son intitulé.

Sinon, dans ce dernier cas, surftilecalc de Pablo Luna peut faire l'affaire je crois.

If you give a big file to Orbiter Base Maker it will cut it into 512 by 512 bytes and place it with the minimum of fuss. It also has 7 levels of detail from small on the ground stuff to viewed from 10km up

The main drawback of OBM is that you can't really do big AND detailled areas. Either you split up the image, or you don't go as high as you wanted.

Thanks fort, Image Splitter is great, but I still need to find a way to get the maximum level possible with the current file ...
Might be a good idea to start coding another utility !

have you had a look at Base Tile Maker, it will split up a very big TGA file and convert it to a number of level 1 tiles. Is it bigger then level one you are after?
