I've been reading Surface Detail, by Iain M. Banks, and was thinking it would be interesting to add some ships from it into Orbiter. The sheer size of some of the ships (Sense amid Madness, Wit amidst Folly, for example, IIRC, is something like 50 km wide, 100 km, and 1 km 'thick'). Plus, Orbitals.
I'd probably do it myself, if I wasn't busy running an old-school D&D campaign, working on a final project for my Media Arts class, and generally had more spare time. That, and I don't think I'd be able to model any of them. Would anyone be interesting in making an addon like this?
