Hi , i saw in a tv program that Curiosity rover found nitrogen, carbon and oxygen within the rock.
in the tv show they said that:
".. Oxygen is an Organic gas associated with life.
Why Nasa has not made a single comment about the oxygen?
and why not any network has demanded any explanation that of there is oxygen that means in the past life existed on Mars.
Oxygen is only produced by living organisms."

Umm.... I hope that you didn't get the above idea from a TV show, because it's just plain wrong: there are LOTS of non-biological processes that can produce oxygen on the Martian surface.

Any volunteers care to expand on that? :tiphat:

The question is how much of these elements are found.
If it is traceable quantities, it does not mean anything.

Hola, como esta?

Remember, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon do not necessarily mean life. It may mean life may become of these things, but you need a lot more than those.

Like saying that a proton LV has launched a satellite into space and showing the launch of a manned soyuz launch? Yeah, love the Dutch news..

Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon in a rock are no signs for life. What matters are which molecules you find. Ozone (O3) for example would be a strong indicator for life. While it is harmful for us, it can only exist under conditions that require plants/algae/etc to produce diatomic oxygen O2. You need some amount of O2 in the air for getting a measurable amount of O3, may it be by ultraviolet radiation or by lighting strikes.

The red color of Mars is caused by its surface being covered with iron oxide - Rust in the widest sense. But it is no sign for life. The oxygen is already chemically bound and can not be used for sustaining chemical reactions, that we call life. Same with the oxygen in carbondioxide. Plants do that job for us to use solar energy for producing free oxygen. Alternative chemistries for life would also be thinkable, but would be way more complicated or have way smaller tolerances than life as we know it.

So, also by the lack of knowledge about the existance other chemical forms of life, it has to be assumed, that the indicators for life on our planet would also have to be searched on Mars. Liquid water is one, the existence of an ozone layer (what Mars does not have) would be another. The question now is, if life ever existed on Mars, not if currently life exists on Mars... that would be extremely unlikely.

:shifty:

wow i wonder what organisms are able to fuse enough hydrogens together to produce oxygen?

Curiosity rover found nitrogen, carbon and oxygen , that means
Curiosity rover found nitrogen, carbon and oxygen.

 good one NukeET, that reminded me of this scene (00:23)
