I generally watch space and astronomy videos on YouTube, but the "recommended videos" sometimes show culture, sarcasm, memes, etc. So I have to restore my account every time.

Why not just subscribe to channels you like rather than rely on video recommendations from YT's broken/biased algorithm?

What Samuel said, subscribe to the channels and make the subscriptions page your bookmarked youtube page. The suggestion algorithm is unreliable at best if not broken from what I find.

I suppose the algorithm of recommended sometimes offers videos that are popular among those who watched the same videos as you so it's really better to subscribe to channels and turn on the notifications about new videos.
