Hi everyone!

I've been using AMSO to go to Mars, Jupiter and beyond with the stock AMSO scenarios. I want to create a scenario without the LM in the Saturn V because I want to fly just with the CSM without carrying the LM weight to the orbit. In other words, I want to "remove" the LM (before lift off). How can I do that? I tried the scenario editor but it doesn't allow me to do that.

I know that the Apollo 8 didn't have a LM. Nevertheless a "mass compensation structure" equivalent in weight to the LM was used. Can I edit the SIV-B stage mass to take away those (aprox.) 15000 kg ?

Thanks!

I don't know if this is possible, but, if you can't edit AMSO cfg files, you can use the Velcro Rockets version of the Saturn V.

Velcro might be what you are looking to do. Will allow you to ride up inside the CM as well going that route. I recommend using Launch MFD for the launch guidance, don't bother with velcro's built in launch ap. You will have to make sure then you got dummy RCS somewhere in your stack for the control, no big deal, just give it lots of force and no exhaust and you wont even know it is there.

Velcro rockets looks very interesting, I'll give it a try, thanks!
