General Question Damaging the Space Shuttle - orbDamage or dll?

People, orbiter's excellent add-on model allows you to customize your installation however you want it. If you don't want damage simulation, don't install the add-ons, it is as simple as that. Don't criticize people who do want it, it's their choice. If you don't see the point of damage simulation, fine. Some other people might want it for reasons of their own. There is no point arguing.

In any case, Ashaman42, I have an updated, slightly better, orbdamage sitting inside my computer. It was released on OH, however it had some issues with the DGIV so I pulled it back for further debugging. I think I will release it back up again in some time.

About temperature simulation: I don't really have a good solution for this. It'd be excellent if someone like Dan Steph or Doug Beachy would explain how they do the temperature simulation. But I doubt the procedure they use could be used for generic purposes. Until then we are stuck with using min/max flux values.

These aren't very 'immersive', but at least it's better then bouncing.
