Problem DDraw error DDERR_OUTOFMEMORY

After I added assorted Soyuz programs to Orbiter, I keep on getting this message, and then my background of my desktop turns to a basic blue. Can any body tell me whats going on?

What graphics card do you have, and how much memory does your computer have? That error suggests that it's running out of graphics (or main) memory...

i have a nvidia geforce fx 5200 w/ 512mb vid ram (the max i can get cuz i dont have a pcie port)

i also have 2 gigs of memory

i have also noticed the file earth_lmask takes 4ever to load
