Greetings,

I am new to the forum and i have a question about the scenario ldef retrieval in the base oribiter instal. I manually launch the default atlantis but i can't make my Rinc lower than 2.50° with a heading of 110°. Does anyone now witch heading i have to use to get a lower Rinc ?

:(

What orbital inclination is LDEF in?

Your launch site (the Cape) is at 28.5° ,so that is the lowest inclination you can launch to, which is done by a 90° launch azimuth. The shuttle could get slightly lower inclination by doing a "dogleg" maneuver during the ascent, but this uses a lot of propellant and means a lower payload capacity, for at best a fraction of a degree in inclination.

I don't know why you're trying to get to a 2.5° inclination in this mission, unless the LDEF is in the wrong orbit, in which case the scenario is flawed and needs a rewrite via Scenario Editor.

He's trying to get RINC below 2.5* not INC
