Question Delphi programming-OrbConnect

I'm writing a program in Delphi that uses OrbConnect to get data from orbiter. I can get most of the OrbConnect commands to work. I am trying to display a map with ship position and orbital track like the map mfd. Is there a formula for converting the ship elements so I can plot the orbit onto a mercator projection. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
