OHM Delta IV Launch Vehicles 3.0

So I've been using the Delta-IV Heavy to Launch a module from the Space Station Builing Blocks (4.0, I believe). EVerything works fine until after final shutdown. When I try to separate, I get a CTD. What exactly is the orbiterlog file called? I'm sure someone will want to look at it. I just can't figure out why it's crashing........

It's in the main Orbiter folder and is in fact called Orbiter.log

No, he means orbiter.log. That is what the file is called.

Maybe this will help.

To the untrained, un(orbiter) educated eye, it appears the reason is there's no class for the payload. It was my understanding that these payloads (Space Station Building Blocks) at spacecraft3 modules. And I may be wrong, most likely wrong, but I feel like I read somewhere that these are two different things.

While on the subject,does anyone know of any other addons that would allow me to build a station module by module?

I think you have defined the spacecraft incorrectly. Can you give the scenario you have too?

This is just the plain old, vanilla, no changes made scenario that came with the addon. I used the Payload Manager it has to load my custom payload. I filled out the boxes that asked for the .msh and .cfg files with:

burchismo/BM203

A-HA! The Mesh files is burchismo/BM203

HOWEVER, the config is Vessels/BM203. Let me try that and see how it works. Hopefully no issues!

The human-error (mine) was the problem, not the add-on or scenario.

Sorry for the noob question, but could anybody make a successful launch of the DG with the HEAVY+ configuration? Mine starts to lose altitude at 90km and then drops. Is there any tweaking to be made on the weight or something?

Maybe you need to eject the upper stage, and fly the DG manually at that point.
 
A question,how would you attach libers Boeing X-37B so it's upside down when the fairings detatch instead of rightside up,there seems to be no way of doing this with payload manager included in this addon?Thanks
 
What do you mean? Pics, if you have any, would be much better for solving this...
 
HI Mav,all I mean when I launch the DeltaIV carrying a spaceplane such as, for example libers X-37B,or his Dreamchaser,I want to launch them so there heads down like the space shuttle,so the cockpit is lookin down towards the ground.

That looks heads down to me.
 
HI garyw,the pic in my first post is with the launcher that liber provided with the addon which flys it in the heads down position,this new pic is on the DeltaIV4.5,and its heads up position.see what I mean.:)

:hmm: I'll dig through the manual soon. I think there's a setting on the autopilot, but I can't be sure.

I love this mod! Will you add the Orion spacecraft as a payload that will be launched by a Delta IV Heavy this september? :)
 
If there is an Orion Add-on, then you can add it yourself. That is the purpose of payload manager.
 
I have a question about the payload manager. I have a spacecraft that uses attachments rather than be made part of the mesh. The attachments are for the solar array. But how do I load the attachments with the spacecraft using the Payload manager.

I know you put the mesh and cfg in the correct folders
 
It's an excellent add-on, but I noticed a problem that the CG of the second stage on the Delta4M is outside of the rocket, which makes it unrealistic.
