I couldn't think of anything else to call them.

The texture files are relatively big compared to the standard ones, but I don't know of a way to make them smaller and still keep a resolution I am happy with. I hope you like the skins and use them anyway.

Credits to Martin Schweiger & Roger "Frying Tiger" Long for the Deltaglider & DG-S.

This is the end result of my attempt to make a space shuttle-like skin in response to a suggestion/question from Cale Nicholson, who I see has since made his own space shuttle-like skins for the XR-1. Therefore, credits to Cale Nicholson for the idea.

Finally, credits and thanks to Skorpion-SK for giving me permission to play with the white DG skin from his DG skin pack, and for his generosity. I have always liked his DG skin pack. If you download it, you get a green one, a yellow one and a white one to go with the red and blue stock ones, and my black one ; ). Thanks Skorpion, and I particularly hope you are happy with what I've done.

I love it! It's the classy and understated skin I've been looking for. The lack of logos lets it jive with any scenario, and the little extra details like the black around the windows and the "utility orange" inside the RCS nozzles makes it feel more like the "real thing." Now if there were only a version for the DGIV...

Hey Black Dog, The skin looks awesome! Great job, will download it once I get home tonight. Thanks as well for the credit, though you did all the work. There's a paint kit available with the XR1 (www.dougsorbiterpage.com) if you're interested in applying your evident skills to this spacecraft. Cheers!

Wow wow wow!!! Very realistically. The best what I know. if is a good idea. Thank you!

so how do I make the skin work?

so how do I make it work?
I read something about modifiying a scenario to do it but I see no mention in the scenario editer anything about skins.
I am using orbiter 2010.
thanks

By modifying the scenario the author means to open the scenario file with the notepad, not the Orbiter program, and then follow the instructions provided in the readme.
