Hey guys I have a question...I will jump straight to it I know the basics of deorbiting and reentring on earth and I do it simi accuatly with base sync and areobrake mfd's. I would like an auto pilot to do it for me so I can get down and land. Any help or recomendations for a mfd. I tried Auto fsc but I couldn't get it to work I downloaded but it wouldn't come up. Any help for that problem. Thank You

As far as I know there is no autopilot that can do both reentry and land on runway. DGIV autopilot will only perform a reentry and then shut off leaving the final glide to runway up to you.

AutoFCS, its only for shuttle type vehicles like the Shuttle and Braun though.

Yes. AutoFCS doesnt work with any other vessel. I tried to. But autopilot is not necessary. Basically deorbit burn will start on the other side of the eart where you will land. 180° on MapMFD. On AeroBrake MFD you will see then point which will by close and close to your final destination. Is better to have this point little before your landing airport. Then you will rotate to prograde nose up to 40° and wait to approach atmosphere. Reentry process is then variably with some ship. for example with space shuttle you have to make break to left and right. No will be with nose up, because you will go back to space. vertical speed have to be minus. But no much. only few. Check AerobrakeMFD. With DeltaGlider you will be with nose up and only make correction nose down, nose up. You can tried to 5x and then you will be abble to land with anything like me without any autopilot. Is better to do manually. :)
Good MFD is Glideslope MFD. I like it and use it with basesyncMFD and AeroBrakeMFD. GlideslopeMFD is on orbithangar.
For AutoFCS is necessary to update earth.cfg. Is not so hard. Only simple. If you need help with instaling AutoFCS or Glideslope you can contact me through Personal message.

Guys Thanks I really only wanted a reentry one not a glideslope but thanks anyways. When I downloaded the auto fsc I did not come up in the mfd select page...any sugestions. I also made sure it was activated in the module page.

AutoFCS works with DG-like vessels also. In the older versions, there were (supposedly) two different configurations/profiles included and you could swap them out depending on what you were using, shuttle or DG (haven't confirmed this, was told this some time back). I believe it now has the ability to guide DG-like vessels built in. I used it on the stock DG not long ago to return to KSC with no issues, without even changing the profile.

From the AutoFCS2 Readme:
3. I've done very little experimenting with vehicles other than the shuttle. Your mileage may vary...

The readme also explains what the current profile does each step of the way. You can edit the profile to work with a different vessel, and by trial and error come up with something that works, if you have the time and choose to do so. Just make sure you save a copy of the original file to go back to (also suggested in the readme file)

5. The current loaded profile (Altitude, Speed, and Distance) will be displayed in the Trajectory window. You can edit the profile in the AFCS.ini file you loaded during installation (after ending Orbiter). If you edit it, I'd recommend you save a backup of the old one first.

Bottome line: R.ead T.he F.riendly M.anual (or in this case, the Friendly Readme). It's in the Doc folder. It also explains exactly how to pull up AutoFCS in Orbiter once the module is activated.
