Problem DG IV addon crashes with Scenario Editor addon

I recently installed the DG IV addon and noticed in the readme that it interferes with a few addons, so I disabled all but the Scenario Editor.

DG IV and Scenario editor worked fine for a while, and now Scenario Editor is causing DG IV to crash. This doesn't only happen in the DG IV scenario. Even when I use the Scenario Editor to create a DG IV ship, it still crashes in other scenarios.

With scenario editor turned off, dg4 works just fine. I really enjoy using the scenario editor, especially with dg4 and it bugs me this happens. Is there a fix?
