General Question Dynamic animation

Dear all.,

I have noticed that - simple animations that I see for instance on Brighton base, with small railway and carriage operating under normal orbiter.exe and are not visible or active in the orbiter_ng.exe with direct3D. All else is ok, textures and all. But the animations don't work. Is this something I need to edit / modify in the advanced parameters ? Thanks
 
Yeah the thing is that the whole base system in Orbiter is a bit outdated. If you want to simulate something a bit complex, it's probably a good idea to do it through a vessel dll module, it offers much more flexibility. And the instability of landed vessels has been solved by Jarmonik, Face & absjos (see Parking Brake MFD).
 
thanks so much guys. Hey.... there is SO much going on in space right now. Is anyone working on private commercial space stations too ? I see AXIOM space garnering steady speed. would be interesting to have it in orbiter :)
