Request Earth Moon Transit map

hello everyone im very new to the orbiter program and have installed AMSO, orbiter sound addon, IMFD addon, and i noticed that there isnt a map for jurney between the earth and moon. it would be a great addition to/for AMSO. It needs only be a simple 2D map like the one they used in the movie Apollo 13 in the Mission Control room. weather its built into the map MFD or its own doesnt matter [at least to me].

Have you tried IMFD's Map mode? I think that should do what you want :thumbup: and to Orbiter-Forum!

IMFD's Map Mode will do exactly that.

Can i see an 8-shaped trajectory in IMFD map? I've only used IMFD map during interplanetary flights. What's proper Src, Ref and Tgt for Earth2Moon (and back) flights?

As for all lunar trips with IMFD, SRC should be set to self (you must be in orbit - if landed use Surface Launch's Lunar Off-Plane mode), reference would be Earth and Target would be Moon. In map, same settings for reference and target, and CNT "p-moon" - enable SOI, Disp, and Int. You will also often need to set a time limit in Maps config page, IIRC 400K is enough.

You will also need to use Target Offsetting in Target Intercept to create the "figure 8" trajectory. IMFD FUll Manual will help, but the update should be out within a month, and contains a more detailed explanation of that process, and includes a recording of a flight from KSC - KSC using a lunar free return trajectory.
