Well, the good thing: This year was surprisingly diverse. Rarely the classic ESC material, some many pretty good songs. Albania gave me goosebumps, great lead vocals.

Disappointed that Austria didn't win, it was a good song and got good votes.
But I guess Israel's song was "fun" and people preferred that this year


Yes, some clown got into the stage during UK's performance, that's just sad.

I'm not sure how to put this.

In Faroese "Netta" is an adjective. It's the nominative feminine form meaning 'small and slender'. (The masculine form is "Netti")

To make things worse it also used to be quite popular dog name. The part of my family that is involved in sheep farming have a number of working dogs, including a bitch called "Netta". :lol:

Yes. Well, some are more or less mongrels, but we have imported a few Border Collies from Scotland to avoid inbreeding.

One of my Aunts had a small-holding, and always had Collies. Bright dogs, you had to watch them or they'll have a nip at you.
Working dogs, not really pets.

Border Collies need a small farm to watch over, otherwise they are bored to death and start behaving like a human teenager who is bored to death...

My parents plan getting a second Sheltie next year, after the dog count dropped to 2.

They are OK, I personally still prefer the classic Collie model. The one we already have is a tiny bit hot-headed, but she is great in dog agility, which my mother does with her. She is also extremely patient with young children, which makes her a pretty good pet in that aspect. But our old Collie was way more patient there - the Sheltie tolerates children, our deceased Collie absolutely loved them.

Our younger Collie hides from children after a while, he doesn't like too much kerfuffle around him. All he really wants is exactly ONE person to throw a ball far enough to make it a challenge for him to catch - for hours and hours.
